First time trying out my new airbrush.  Colors I used were burnt umber, orange umber and dark brown.  Weathering powders were used as well.  Sorry for the poor quality photos.  All my pictures are taken with my droid phone.

Weathered HO Scale Great Northern Boxcar

My first ever attempt to weather a rail car.  This is an Intermountain Railway Co. (12 panel Box car GN in Sky Blue) boxcar.  I thought it turned out pretty good.  There is much room for improvement when I look at other people's work. 

HO Scale Bridge Kit

Ballasted wood deck bridge.  This was a kit I put together a few years ago.

Short HO Scale Bridges

Two scratch built 14' bridges.  Their spans measure out to be only 1.93".  The Mansfield Branch had a few of these size bridges.  I use a dark walnut stain on all my structures and then dry brush them with a light grey weathering power.

I tried to mimic the Mansfield Line's south portal.  After I took these photos, I used a light grey weathering powder to tone down the stain and give it some depth.  It really gives it a realistic look.  I have done that on my bridges as well.
