Waterville Railway Co. Depot

Former Waterville Railway Co. Depot on Rainier St. in Waterville, Wash on Dec. 3, 2016.  The Great Northern Railway built this structure in 1910 for the WRY Co., which was their standard depot design during the early 1900’s.  This standard depot littered the landscape in many towns throughout the northern states, and served both passengers and freight service for the railroad.  Palisades, Douglas, Withrow, and Mansfield all had a depot of this exact design.  This depot was retired in 1954, and is now the residence of Jim Horton.
